mama's watch

I was washing dishes on Sunday night.
Crystal asked: "Mama, where's your watch?"
Oh my dear ... you noticed it!

I took her to the toilet and explained to her how and why I lost my watch.
I said, "An auntie took mama's watch. but mama didn't know which auntie took it. She didn't return it to mama."

Later on she asked me to repeat the story of how and why.
She said, "下次你不要在单位挤奶吧。你就在家里挤奶，好吧?"
She also said, "next time you buy a new watch. Ok?"
Daddy asked her, "what's price of watch should we buy for mama?"
Using her fingers to form a sign for eight, she said, "Eighty yuan."

when i got back from office this evening, she asked, "mama, have you bought a new watch?"
oh dear .. she thinks, buying a watch is just like buying some bread, candy, or fruit for her, like i often do when get back from office.
