irresponsible fathers !!!

just saw 3 cases of irresposible fathers in television news lately

case 1 - taiwan

a 30-year-old man, had been unemployed for about 3 years. spending his days drinking, going to internet cafe, and taking care of his daughter. last week, the drunken father, bathed his 4-month daughter. in the middle, he fell asleep, with water still drifting from the tap. the baby was drowned. by the time her grandma found out, the baby had died!

case 2 - china

a father was addicted to online-game. he was playing game in internet cafe, leaving his 4-year-old daughter alone at home. his daughter was burnt to death due to fire accident in their house.

case 3 - china

again an internet-addicted father, bring his 2-year-old kid to internet cafe. while he was playing game, he put and let his son sleep on the cold tile floor below the computer desk. some people reported him and the police took his son away.

case 4 - indonesia (info from teong and cintrong's mommy)

a jealous husband, put his 4 year son right-leg on railway, it hit by the train. his son lost his leg and didn't cry! oh GOD, what kind of father he is !!! (*i was so emotional reading the news in below link!*)

choking ! be aware !

just last week, a 3 yr-old boy in my town, was choked to death when eating a grape.

the boy was the son of the colleague of my sis-in-law's friend.

the mother was panic and didn't know what to do.

she ran and tried to bring her son to doctor. but it was just too late!

up till now, the family don't dare to let the kid's grandma know,

due to the grandma has a heart problem.

please be aware when you kids are having grapes or jelly (see below pictures).

many kids in china die because of choking by jelly.

when my kids are having jelly, i always require them to use spoon, explaining them the risk.

it's very important for us, especially parents, to know the how to do first aid for choking and CPR. brief or train your baby care-giver also.

pengasuh sebaiknya juga dilatih untuk pertolongan pertama ini.

warning: sandal karet crocs & tiruannya

mungkin sudah banyak yang nulis ini.

sekedar mengingatkan kembali.

dan mungkin buat yang belum tahu.

sandal2 ini memang cantik dan enak dipakai.

tapi hati-hati saat putra-putri anda mengenakannya,

baik yang asli maupun produk tiruan,

efeknya sama saja saat dikenakan di tangga-berjalan (escalator).

sandal ini lunak dan mudah 'tersedot' ke dalam sela2 tangga berjalan.

anakku juga pakai, tapi hanya untuk di rumah, atau ke tempat2 non-escalator. dan seluruh orang rumah sudah aku warning. bahkan setiap kali jumpa anak kecil di mal dg sandal tipe ini, ortunya pasti sebisanya aku ingatkan. untungnya selalu ditanggapi dg baik, tanpa sikap curiga.

di singapura ada kasus anak perempuan berusia 2 tahun,

jari kakinya terjepit dan putus saat mengenakan sandal ini di escalator.

kasus ini juga banyak menimpa anak2 di amerika dan eropa.

di jakarta pun sudah pernah terjadi beberapa kasus serupa.

乘坐手扶电梯时穿着Crocs鞋，容易因鞋材质过软被电梯夹住脚。

多数事件都是小孩，一些受害者只有2岁!
近段时间，美国、欧洲、日本、新加坡等国不少儿童因为穿着美国名牌卡骆驰鞋，脚被夹在了手扶电梯里。

请不要让您宝宝穿着卡骆驰 (Crocs) 大头鞋乘坐手扶电梯。安全还是最重要的。
